I share this in an effort to clarify to the world the position of orthodox Muslims who believe in and act by the Qur'an and the authentic sunnah as it relates to some of the groups that are, to say the least, troublemakers in society. The Khawaarij were a group mentioned to us by the Messenger of ALLAH, peace be upon him, and he mentioned them by this name, "Khawarij". They are understood to be renegades, and act according to radical and unfounded, or insufficiently founded notions.
